Carlton Main Frickley Colliery BandFinals Qualification for Frickley
After an excellent performance at the 2024 Yorkshire Regional Championships, Carlton Main was awarded third place from adjudicators Steven Sykes and Tom Davoren and an invitation to the National Finals of Great Britain at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Conducted to success by the band’s professional Musical Director Allan Withington, Team Frickley gave an outstanding account of Philip Sparke’s test-piece Variations on an Enigma to grab a qualification spot alongside banding colleagues Black Dyke and Brighouse & Rastrick.
