The band was delighted to record the soundtrack for a new short movie adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson’s tale, The Snow Queen, which has been written for Brass Band by Jack Capstaff – Conductor.

With stunning motion graphics by Charlotte Capstaff, and narration provided by the voice of brass bands, Frank Renton, this 30-minute feature provides entertainment for those of all ages at Christmas time.

This year, more than ever, we are all conscious of the significant cost pressures affecting families between the energy crisis, cost of living crisis, and rampant inflation increasing the cost of Christmas for many, and that’s why writer and project creator Jack Capstaff has generously offered this absolutely free of charge from the 23rd of December to the 31st of December.

Jack fitter commented: “The video will be freely available between December 23rd and December 31st on youtube, but you can also purchase a download of the project on my website where any and all purchases will go to support turn2us, a superb charity helping those in financial need. People shouldn’t feel pressured into giving, but if they can afford a small donation, it would be greatly appreciated.”
